Abstract
Lawyers make up a significant proportion of our national, state, local, and corporate leadership. Yet law schools have traditionally not addressed the roles, opportunities, privileges, and duties associated with leading. Deborah Rhode explains that law schools are missing -- but suggests they can no longer afford to miss -- an important and privileged opportunity to assist future and potential leaders in developing the skills that promote effective leadership.
