Abstract
There are no provisions for student practice in the United Kingdom. However, rules representing rights of the general public to represent litigants in some tribunals may allow the equivalent of student practice. Moreover, in some circumstances, judges have the discretion to permit a degree of law representation. The attached pdf gives a brief explanation of the situation in England & Wales and in Scotland.
