The Ethics & Regulation of Lawyers Worldwide:
Comparative and Interdisciplinary Perspectives

INTRODUCTION
Every two years, the International Association of Legal Ethics (IAOLE) brings together several hundred scholars and lawyers from around the world. The next conference, International Legal Ethics Conference VII, will be held in the United States on July 14-16, 2016. It will be hosted by the Stein Center for Law and Ethics at Fordham Law School, which is in the heart of New York City -- steps from Lincoln Center and Central Park and easily accessible to theatres, museums and national attractions.
We expect approximately 300 participants - academics from a range of disciplines, practicing lawyers and regulators - who will present papers, speak on panels, and engage in informal discussions concerning the legal profession and legal ethics. Participants are invited to organize discussions and present papers addressing both the legal profession in their own regions and cross-cutting and comparative questions.
