Abstract
Servant leadership describes a commitment to thinking about leadership as an activity that is about more than just motivating people to achieve goals. In other words, the leadership isn't about an individual's charisma or boldness in shepherding people toward an organizational goal. Rather, servant leadership is a leadership model based on serving others by focusing on helping them to achieve goals. This volume contains twenty-five essays written by executives, consultants, professionals and educators who believe that servant leadership model is the best way to approach the challenge of leading public and private sector initiatives.
