Abstract
In Scotland, law graduates who wish to enter practice must first complete a 28 week course at one of five university-based law schools called the Diploma in Legal Practice, followed by a two-year apprenticeship (the training contract). This article describes the general requirements for post-graduate professional training in Scotland and the Diploma program at the Glasgow Graduate School of Law in particular.
