Abstract
Describes requirements for licensing after law school.
All Canadian provinces require a period of apprenticeship, called "articles."
British Columbia also requires that graduates complete a 10 week, simulation-based Professional Legal Training Course (PLTC) before beginning articles. Ontario requires a 5 week PLTC before articles. In Alberta graduate take a 5 month PLTC in conjunction with articles.
