Abstract
The Rules of Professional Conduct provide a framework for the ethical practice of law. The judges of the Superior Court approved these rules to guide attorneys in their professional conduct. This pamphlet is designed to help you understand attorney grievance procedures in Connecticut. It explains what a grievance is, how to file a grievance complaint and what will happen procedurally after a grievance complaint is filed. It also provides information about other action that you may want to consider.
