Social justice lawyering is advocacy aimed at using the law and legal strategies to promote greater equity and fairness in a manner that improves community conditions. Drawing on three social justice lawyering case studies, Professor James suggests ways that law students "can view and understand legal problem solving" at the same time as "provid[ing] students with an introductory overview of administrative law and the legislative process."
